Statement of Faith

1. The Scriptures are God Inspired.  Meaning = The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of The Living God, a revelation from God to man, infallible. The Bible is the final authority on all matters of life, faith, and practice. 2 Timothy 3:15-16, 2 Peter 1:20-21

2. The One True God.

We believe in the One True God, The Trinity: God, The Father, God The Son Jesus Christ, and God, The Holy Spirit. All three are co-eternal and           co-equal and all Deity.  John1:1,14, Deuternomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Exodus 3:14, John 8:58.

3. Man and his fall & Redemption.

Man was created good and upright for God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness."   Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21.

4. The Salvation of man.

a) Condition of Salvation. The grace of God brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration, the renewing of the Holy Spirit, and by being justified by grace through faith. Then he becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 2:11, Romans 10:13-15, Luke 24:47, Titus 3:5-7.

The new birth - You must be born-again; John 3:1-18, Jesus is the Only way to Heaven; John 14:6.

b) The evidence of salvation.

The "inward" evidence of the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit, Romans 8:16.

5. Baptism in Water.

The ordinance of baptism in water should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have repented and in their hearts have truly believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. This represents an outward symbol of cleansing.  Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47, 48, Romans 6:4, Hebrews 10:22.

6. Virgin Birth and Resurrection.

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, Matthew 1:23 and the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, Matthew 28:1.

7. Our Christian walk.

The Scriptures teach us how to live a life of holiness and by the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command. Hebrews 12:14, I Peter 1:15,16,                        I Thessalonians 5:23,24, I John 2:6.

8. The Church.

The Church is the body of Christ.  Ephesians 1:22,23, 2:22, Hebrews 10:25, 12:23.

9. The Ministry, Evangelism & Missions.

a) The evangelization of the world. Matthew 28:18-20

b) The edifying of the body of Christ. Mark 16:15-20, Ephesians 4:11-13.

10. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Includes the catching away of the church, the tribulation, the actual personal return of Christ, His millennial reign on earth, the promise of a new heaven and a new earth and the judgment of the believers and unbelievers. I Thessalonians 4:16-17, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 19:11-14, 20:1-6, Revelation 21:1.
